Pet of the Week

Pet of the Week

Pet of the Week: Sparkles

Breed: Domestic Rabbit
Age: 21 year old
Sex: Male, neutered
Size: Medium
Personality: Shy, Independent, Curious

Sparkles is a gentle, sweet boy who has sadly never truly known what love means. Because of his past experiences, he can be shy and reserved when meeting new people. He may not be a bunny who enjoys being picked up or cuddled, but he absolutely deserves a patient, understanding home where he can feel safe and secure.

Watching a shy rabbit learn to trust can be incredibly rewarding, and Sparkles has so much quiet charm to share with the right person. Although he has never lived with another rabbit to our knowledge, he is a neutered male and may do well with a bunny companion given a slow, proper introduction.

If you’re interested in meeting Sparkles, please visit Global Pet Foods in Port Hope or call us at 905-885-4131 for more information. He’s also featured on our website at northumberlandhs.com.

Sparkles may be shy, but with love and patience, he’s sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.
